Love This Valentine’s Date Night Look As Much as I Love Frosting!

I love frosting. A lot.

Love this look more than frosting!

So, to say, I love this look – created with these products – as much as I love frosting means it’s super delicious.

And did I say how easy it is?

*On the eyes:

1) Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Amber Haze ($27) – Apply the crayon from crease to lash line and blend with brush. Then, use the crayon to color in the bottom lash line.

2) Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita Luxury Palette ($52) – Apply the glitter shadow (bottom left) over the Amber Haze pencil.

3) Charlotte Tilbury Rock’N’Kohl Eye Cheat Iconic Liquid Eye Pencil ($27) -Apply in inner corners to brighten the eyes, making them appear wider and brighter! It’s also great to apply the lower waterline when you want to brighten the eye and make your defined lash line look even more defined.

4) L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Volumizing Mascara ($7.99) – stretches those lashes from root to tip to extend and plump. Apply to top and bottom lashes.

*On the brows: 5) L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper ($8.99) – Brush it up and across!

*On the cheeks: 6) Jouer Cosmetics Luminizing Liquid Highlighter in Golden Light ($39) – applied on orbital bone and upper cheekbone

7) NYX Cosmetics Baked Blush in Passion ($7) – Apply under cheekbones and on apples of cheeks for a bronzed glow with a bit of peach.

8) On the Lips: Pixi Beauty Tinted Brilliance Balm in Lucent Glow ($14)

All together, you get one sexy, smoldering date-night look!

My Current Crush: Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection

So who – or – what’s my latest crush? Well, here are a few hints.

It’s sexy. It glows. It lights me all up. And it’s nude.

What - or who - is nude and making me all flushed and glowing?

Wait, WHAT was that I said?
Yep, My Current Crush is the Nude Glow collection from Bobbi Brown. This collection includes three sets of products taylor made to your skin tone to give you that gorgeous glow that Bobbi Brown has become famous for.

My Current Crush: The Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection (from $15 - $52)

I’ve personally tried the eye palettes (and am wearing the Bronze today) and they are sublime. They have the Crystal (which is a silver-gray-hued palette with a bit of soft petal pink which is perfect for fairer skin tones)…

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection Crystal Eye Palette ($50)

the Nude eye palette (which has putty, mocha and true nude shades for medium skin tones)…

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection Nude Eye Palette ($50)

and the Bronze (which I’m wearing today – filled with golds, bronzes and coppers which is perfect for medium to deeper skin tones).

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection Bronze Eye Palette ($50)

A gorgeous mix of flat and shimmering shades, anyone can wear these.

"Dawning" My Current Crush: Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection's Bronze Eye Palette ($50)

And they also have some really fun sheer lipcolors in the collection. I love em! They’re creamy, sheer and a welcome vacation from heavy winter colors! They come in Pink Flush, Pink Rose and Pink Gold. Perfect for a pink-lover like me or anyone who craves a more natural, sweet, understated, kissable lip to go with that gorgeous, glowing complexion.

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection Sheer Lip Colors in (L to R): Pink Gold, Pink Rose and Pink Flush (all $25)

And some swatches of course:

I’M “DAWNING”…Votre Vu Palette Play in Copper

When I came back from Nashville a few weeks ago, there was no time to rest. I had to go to Rocco DeLuca’s super-cool show downtown that Friday and I needed to look cool….FAST. So I grabbed a Votre Vu Palette Play in Copper ($42) that I had been eyeing for a while in my beauty closet.

I'M "DAWNING"...Votre Vu Palette Play in Copper ($42)

I’d never tried Votre Vu shadows before – but looooove their other products – and I was a little nervous as to how the pigment would go on. Well, y’all the pigment is pretty. Divine. Rich. Majestic. And I am in love. So if you’ve seen me out and about the past few weeks, you’ve probably seen this pretty, pretty palette on my eyes.

Divine. Rich. Majestic. This pigment sure is pretty...

The perfect blend of warm and cool colors (Linen, Gilt, Copper Suede and Indigo) played together so well and were sooooo sexy that I must admit I felt a bit like Joan Collins on Dynasty. People noticed and actually asked me what the shadow was so I knew it was a keeper!

It might look a little 80s-drama-queen here but it looked sophisticated & seductive in person & in pics

They wore on all night long with no creasing or smudging. And, again, it just makes me feel a bit better that Votre Vu products are cruelty-free, free of talc, fragrance and low-cost minerals.

BF Asks: When it comes to shadow, are you a bigger fan of warm or cool shades?
